This is twice in the past week that the market has not closed the opening gap. What was once resistance is now support.
The morning high acted as resistance until the last half-hour of European trading. The market found support at the VWAP and buyers pushed the market past the overnight high.
Traders are hoping for more earnings surprises to the upside.
