I find trading psychology amusing. For example, the market's dislike for gaps. There's no real reason for it especially in today's 24-hour markets where there are really no gaps. But traders aren't happy until gaps are closed. So, the market trades all the way up to close a two-day gap, and then sells all the way back down to where it started. Now everyone is happy, and I'm still amused.

Hi Charles
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. Are there really any gaps? In the pre electronic days there were but today's 24/7? Oh well.
Thanks for your guidance as always.
