On both the 5 and 1-minute charts, I use a Pivot Line, VWAP Line and Moving Averages on the $TICK chart. The 5-minute chart uses a 78-Period Pivot Line. The 1-minute chart uses the same indicator code, except that it is formated for 390 bars. On the 5-minute chart, there are 78, 5-minute bars between 0930 and 1600 ET. In the same time period, there are 390, 1-minute bars.
Both charts use the same VWAP code.
Both charts use the same $TICK moving averages code. The yellow line on the 5-minute chart is formated for 2 periods, while the 1-minute chart is formated for 5 periods.
Above is the code for the Pivot Line.
Above is the code for the $TICK averages.
The Sector chart above also uses the VWAP code (white line). A good source for Sector Spiders information is the Select Sector SPDR web site: http://www.sectorspdr.com/
Above is the 620 tick chart with the 20 and 38 EMA crossover paintbar. When the 20-period EMA is above the 38-period EMA, the bars are painted Green, else the bars are Red.
Above is the 20, 38 EMA PaintBar Code.
The VIX, Advance - Decline Line Chart above uses what I call the Midas 3 moving average. The first bar is a 1-period SMA, the second bar uses a 2-period SMA, the third bar uses a 3-period SMA and so on to the end of the day in which the last bar on this 5-minute chart uses a 78-period SMA.
Above is the code for the Midas 3 Average.
